Meet our Team of Sunshine Coast Chiropractors

Dr Laura Brooks- Chiropractor

My journey into chiropractic care took root in a personal experience – witnessing the transformative effects on my son’s health. His remarkable journey inspired a profound commitment to pediatric care, and it fills me with pride to share that he, too, is now on the path to becoming a chiropractor.
As a chiropractor, I bring a unique blend of passion and expertise to every session. At the heart of my practice is the belief that every individual is unique, and so are their needs. My toolbox includes manual diversified adjusting and gentle low-force techniques, tailored to each individual’s needs. I am particularly fascinated by women’s health and the delicate interplay of hormonal balance, aiming to empower women through holistic chiropractic care.
While my primary focus lies in pregnancy and pediatric care, I extend my passion to care for families, young and old. It brings me immense joy to witness the transformative impact of chiropractic care on individuals at every stage of life.

Dr Rachael Steel - Chiropractor

Dr Rachael Steel ChiropractorDr Rachael Steel completed her masters of Chiropractic at RMIT Melbourne in 2017.  Rachael is passionate in helping the whole family establish long-term physical, mental and emotional health.

Over her years of practice she has developed a unique approach combining manual & low force chiropractic adjustments with myofascial (soft tissue, dry needling & cupping) and neuro-emotional release techniques (NET).

Since becoming a mother, Rachael has also developed a passion in women’s health, pregnancy, pre and post-natal care and paediatric chiropractic.

Rachael’s own chiropractic journey began when she was nine years old. After a horse riding accident left her with a serious head injury, she found herself with chronic headaches as well as weakness and radiating nerve pain down her left arm. Following weeks of physio and other recommended therapies, Chiropractic was the first therapy that really gave her relief. She had a couple of vertebrae sitting in the wrong place, causing compression on the nerve. This was inhibiting her body’s natural ability to heal and be healthy. After a few chiropractic adjustments she had restored all strength in her arm and after just one adjustment her headaches were gone. After experiencing the magic of chiropractic for herself, she knew from a young age that she wanted to become a chiropractor so that she could help others in a similar way.
Rachael believes that we each possess a natural inborn ability to heal and be healthy, and that our state of health is a reflection of our nervous system’s ability to adapt to the stresses of life.

Rachael’s focus each session is to find the root cause of your health concerns, to resolve your symptoms and enhance your body’s own ability to heal itself.

Rachael looks forward to meeting you and working along side you on your wellness journey!
